Last Updated: 06/03/2025

Welcome to The Orchestral Layer! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Services Provided

The Orchestral Layer provides orchestration services, allowing users to upload their music to which an orchestral element will be composed. Upon completion, the client receives:

  • The final track with the added orchestral layer.

  • Orchestral stems in 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz.

  • An invoice for payment.

Clients may provide input on their desired orchestral layer and specific musical preferences.

2. Feedback & Revisions

Clients are entitled to a maximum of three (3) feedback sessions to refine the orchestration to their liking. Feedback must be submitted within reasonable timeframes, as determined by The Orchestral Layer.

3. Payment Terms

  • The invoice must be paid within the stated due date.

  • Late payments may result in additional fees or suspension of services.

  • All prices and fees are specified on the invoice provided to the client.

4. Copyright & Usage Rights

  • The final composition, including the orchestral elements, is delivered copyright-free for the client to use as they see fit.

  • The Orchestral Layer does not claim any ownership over the completed works.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring their original uploaded material does not infringe on any third-party copyrights.

5. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree that:

  • The music you upload is legally owned by you or that you have the rights to use and modify it.

  • You will provide clear and timely feedback to ensure an efficient workflow.

  • You will adhere to the agreed-upon payment terms.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Due to the nature of custom composition services, all sales are final.

  • Refunds will only be considered if The Orchestral Layer is unable to complete the service due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Cancellation requests must be made before the orchestration process begins; otherwise, the client remains responsible for payment.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Orchestral Layer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. We do not guarantee specific commercial success or outcomes from the final composition.

8. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
